1. Certification Objectives:
• Recertification of the Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2000 by the TUV NORD certification body.
• Confirmation of the certified production of:
- tubular billets by the compliance audit to EG 97/23;
- aviation materials by the surveillance audit to Ð-ÑÖÌ-01.
2. Process and Product Quality Improvement Objectives:
• Introduction of an automated material management in the pouring bay of the Steel Melting Shop 2.
• Introduction of the Raw Material Incoming Inspection and Semi-product Appraisal automated processes in the SAP R/3 system.
• Introduction of the ingot homogeneous heating technology for the steel grades 4Õ5ÌÔ(1)Ñ and 3Õ3Ì3Ô in the Rolling Shop
• Two times reducing versus the 2007 figures of rolled stock amount of the steel grades 4Õ5Ì3Ô, 4Õ5Ì3Ô(1)Ñ and 3Õ3Ì3Ô rejected during an original inspection due to structure inhomogeneity.
3. Marketing Objectives:
• Increase in sales versus the 2007 figures (by commodity):
- Stainless steel tubular billets for European manufacturers of seamless tubes – 15%
- Rough railway car axles for the EU market - 30%
- high-speed steel (except PM-steel) - 10%
4. Procurement Objectives:
• Enhancing of scrap railway shipment quality ensuring the procurement performance of ≤ 0.18
• Covering of requirements for the ÔÊ85 fluor spar for production of steel grades ØÕ15 and ØÕ15ÑÃ – 100%
5. Human Resources Management Targets:
• Achievement of a minimum personnel training efficiency factor of 1,27
